It is difficult to believe that our first quarter is drawing quickly to a close. We have had an extremely successful start to our 2016-2017school year! All the staff and students have settled into a routine and are working diligently to learn, have fun, and create lasting memories! I invite you to visit our school and see allthe amazing activities that are taking place. Just stop in the office and check in with Mrs. Glover (the amazing lady that keeps us all sane) and I'll be happy to take you around. Just a few things that have taken place so far is the elementary students tackled the corn maze, the fire department taught the elementary about fire safety, the high school students are busy with their activities such as volleyball, one act play, FFA, FCCLA, and many more, and the staff is creating a team atmosphere for the students to be successful every day. I come to school every morning with a smile on my face and joy in my heart because of all the amazing people in the people and the students that work hard to please and be successful. Here's to our second semester being as strong as our first!!!
Keep an eye out for Parent/Teacher Conference date change possibility. It looks as though we will be in the play-in game which means conferences would be changed to November 22. If this does happen, we will send out an all call to everyone letting you know! Thanks for all you do for your children and to support our school!

My teaching experience has included first grade, second grade, 6/7 Math, K-12 PE/Health, High School SLD Teacher, Level 5 Reading, 3rd grade math, and Instructional Coach. Along with my teaching experience I also have many years coaching from 5th/6th grade level up to Head Varsity.
My passion for education has led me to pursue administration through Minnesota State University-Moorhead and to the community of Maddock.
I am beyond excited for an amazing school year working together with the entire team to educate our children and prepare them to be successful individuals in whatever their futures hold.
I have been married to my husband, Myles, for almost 15 years. We have moved multiple times for his career as a North Dakota Highway Patrolman. We have four amazing children: Isabelle (12 years), Tyson (10 years), Rylan (8 years) and Brynn (3 years). We do many things as a family and spend our spring, summer, and fall at Stump Lake. We enjoy playing games both indoor and outdoor, cooking, learning, traveling, and movie nights. My family is my pride and joy!
In my free time (yes, I do have some I think) I run a personal crochet business called Sundby's Crocheted Creations. I am also a Monat and Young Living Consultant. I read as often as possible for enjoyment and education. I love spending time with family and friends around a table or campfire.
I am excited to build a family within the Maddock school and community. My passion for education and my belief of the importance of everyone involved will help create an amazing team for all the children in our community. I look forward to an amazing 2016-2017 school year!
